  • It is by faith that we please God. Therefore, a life without it is not only displeasing but it’s also not worth living. What quality of life could one have where hope is absent? Not a good one at all.
•
And, what greater peace than it is to know that God is our provider? That means provision isn’t just His speciality; it’s His promise. We go into every situation employing faith as our currency. When confronted by lack, we employ faith. When confronted by doubt, we employ faith. When confronted by any adversary, we employ faith. It’s the confidence we have to remain at peace even in the midst of chaotic situations.
  • We’re officially 3 days from a life-changing moment for men who are serious about going from where they are to where they want to be. I’m very excited about interviewing the one and only, 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧. He was selected as a 2nd overall pick of the 1st round by the Miami Dolphins, selected as a running back on the 2009 Pro Bowl team and successfully overcame every obstacle that was thrown at him over an illustrious 10-year professional career. Having the honor of knowing this man personally, I’ve seen a different side that isn’t showcased on the field. His love for his family and his commitment to being his best outside of what’s familiar is amazing.
•
I know many guys who’ve been put in a box and characterized because of what they’ve done well or what they’ve done consistently over the years, but there’s so much more to them than the game they’ve played, the money they’ve made and the fame they’ve acquired. This will be a conversation about family, life after “the game” and so much more.
•
I’m looking forward to helping men go from where they are to where they want to be.

  • Unstable is the house that’s built without a firm foundation. It appears to be structurally sound, but time, pressure and conflict will show its cracks. If the Master Carpenter doesn’t carefully build the foundation—crating his heart and impacting his soul—then, no matter how great the house appears to be, it will surely fall.
  • My big guy! He’s just growing up so fast right before my eyes. He’s becoming and blooming, and it’s amazing to see. I’m one proud father. #imperfectfamilyman

It’s not that you don’t have potential.

It’s that you do not have a strategy.

It’s important to develop a plan with how to govern your household, your family, and your career. You need a Strategy. The Linemen Men’s Mentoring Network is where you gather with our brothers really develop a plan of attack with a coach to walk you through this process. Cornelius Lindsey has developed a plan for 6 different areas that individuals, men, need help cultivating. Cornelius will help you come up with a strategical plan to overcome and flourish, build and leave a lasting legacy! We are only accepting 16 men for the first semester so get your applications in early! The first semester will begin on April 19. Don’t worry, if you do not make it into the first semester, the second semester will start on June 7! Click the link to Register now! Below are some ways that Cornelius can help you dig deep and discover more:

1. Craft personal Identity Statement.

  • This statement helps center the man’s ultimate vision for his life and becomes the bridge between who he is and who is becoming. This statement is important and establishes his uniqueness.

2. Discuss Personal Values.

  • Your values can direct and guide your decisions. They help you remain focused and reject anything that goes against who and what you stand for. Every man must identify and clearly state his values.

3. Draft Mission and Vision Statements.

  • Your vision statement is the abstract of declaration of what you desire to accomplish in the future. Your mission statement is the declarative statement that tells everyone how you plan to achieve the vision. The mission and vision statement must be aligned, and they must speak to each other. Cornelius will help you draft those statements.

4. Create SMART Goals.

  • You need goals that are specific, measurable, realistic and timestamped. Cornelius will help you create SMART goals that are specific to your identity, mission and vision statement.

5. Perform a GAP Analysis.

  • It’s important to identify the gaps between where you are and where you plan to go. Cornelius will help you identify what stands between you and your goals so you can prepare for them instead of just having them happen. This analysis is essential to your overall plan because it’s better to be prepared for what could happen.

The more I pondered over this harpooneer, the more I abominated the thought of sleeping with him. It was fair to presume that being a harpooneer, his linen or woollen, as the case might be, would not be of the tidiest.

  • Walk with those who are 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 and 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚. Don’t focus so much on “haters.” What you focus on is what will be important to you. Just seek to work out your own salvation with complete reverence to God.
  • We’re 4 days away from my annual 𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. This one is extra special because this is 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. I’m excited to go out with a bang. And what better person to speak alongside than my good friend, Pastor Taylor Wilkerson (@tdwilkerson). It’s going to be amazing.

  • It’s another amazing Sunday in the books. My favorite time of service is usually the end because I’m able to welcome new friends and greet existing family. That’s where I get to give out my: “I’m proud of you” and “I love you” and “Have a great week” and “Let’s have lunch” and “Take down my number.” All in all, heaven rejoiced because many confessed their faith in Jesus Christ for the first time, some recommitted themselves, others joined our community and a few accepted their call to full-time ministry. For the few, their journey of preparation begins. Some #unlikelyheroes accepted their call. All that was needed was a #divineinterruption. #youcansitwithus #weloveyoualready cc: @thegochurch
